Seth Fisher

I heard a few hours ago that Seth Fisher just passed.

I had just picked up a copy of FF/Iron Man: Big in Japan, and was just blown away by his art. The guy was a unique talent, and not just because of his style. He was unique because of the sheer madness, the creativity, and the energy that he had in his pages. He could bring the Kirby.

Just a week ago, I passed by a comic shop, and saw an awesome image of Green Lantern, with all sorts of stuff coming out of his head. It was WillWorld, one of Seth's earliest works, I believe.

Man, that sucks. It's hard when someone like Eisner or Aparo passes on, but these are people who have left their marks in comic history and in the hearts of their many peers and fans. Seth was young, and he was jusssssst about to break into the mainstream.

It's a damn shame, that's really all I can say.

RIP, Seth.
